Myagdi Hydropower Limited is a Limited company incorporated on 2064 as per company acts 2063. Initially it was established as a Private Limited Company. It was later converted into Public Limited Company on 05 Baishak 2074 (18th April 2017) pursuant to subsection (1) of section 13 of the company acts, 2063 The Registered office of the company is located at Butwal-10, Kalikanagar, Rupandehi. 

The main objective to established the company is to promote and develop hydropower sector of Nepal through the private investment as supporting over all development of the country. The company has developed and operating Gharkhola Hydro Project in Annapurna Rural Municipality ward no.5 and 6 in Myagdi District. This is a run off river type Hydro Project, generating the capacity of 14 MW and the commercial date of the project is 2080 Bhadra 08. The power generation of the project is connected to national grid through 8.00 km long, 33 kV transmission line at Dana Substation, Myagdi.
